SOMMARØY

Just one hour from Tromsø, you'll find a hidden gem called Sommarøy. With its white sandy beaches, crystal-clear turquoise waters, and dramatic mountain landscapes, it feels like a slice of paradise in the Arctic. More info bellow :)

We traveled here during Easter, which is considered the low season. We flew to Tromsø and rented a car directly from the airport, which made everything very easy. The drive to Sommarøy took about an hour and was absolutely stunning, with calm weather and beautiful scenery along the way.

We stayed at Sommarøy Arctic Hotel and had such a wonderful experience. During our stay, we went on several beautiful hikes (more details coming soon!) and completely fell in love with this place. We can't wait to come back and experience Sommarøy in summer under the midnight sun, and again in winter to chase the Northern Lights.
